Reese's Fudge

I have never made fudge before. Nor have I ever really liked it to be honest. Well, this recipe changes everything. Reese’s peanut butter cups meet fudge. It is devilishly delicious and to make matters worse, it is really easy to make. BUT it is quite rich that I really can only have a little bit at once … several times a day… haha

Wrapped in a pretty way, this would also make a delicious gift for someone.

Directions

Line a 9 x 9” baking dish or pan with foil. Place 16 peanut butter cups on the bottom of the pan.

Combine the chocolate chips and the sweetened condensed milk in a medium sauce pan. Over low heat melt the chocolate until both ingredients are well combined while continuously stirring. Pour the chocolate over the peanut butter cups. With a spoon or spatula, smooth out the top.

Immediately place the 6 crumbled peanut butter cups on top of the chocolate. Gently press the candy chunks into the chocolate.

Cover the baking dish and place it in the refrigerator until serving. Cut into bars and serve.

Zutaten

Zubereitung

Eine 9 x 9 inch / 23 x 23 cm Back-/Auflaufform mit Folie auslegen. Den Boden der Backform mit 16 Peanut Butter Cups belegen.

Die Schokoladenstückchen und die gezuckerte Kondensmilch in einen Topf geben. Unter ständigem Rühren die Schokolade bei geringer Hitze schmelzen lassen bis beide Zutaten eine geschmeidige Schokoladenmasse ergeben. Diese dann über die Peanut Butter Cups giessen. Mit einem Löffel die Schokoladenmasse glatt streichen.

Die 6 zerkrümelten Peanut Butter Cups auf der Schokoladenmasse verteilen. Die Krümel leicht in die Schokoladenmasse drücken.

Die Backform abdecken und im Kühlschrank aufbewahren. In Quadrate geschnitten und gekühlt servieren.
