Strawberry-Cranberry Smoothie with Oats

It’s time for another smoothie recipe. I really enjoy smoothies for breakfast especially when they contain oats or chia seeds. Not only do oats and/or chia seeds keep you full longer but they add some nutrional value to your breakfast smoothie as well.
Strawberry-Cranberry Smoothie with Oats
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups frozen strawberries
- 1/2 cup frozen cranberries
- 1/3 cup rolled oats
- freshly squeezed orange juice, 1 cup, more or less
- honey, to taste
Directions
Add the strawberries, cranberries, and oats into a blender. Start by adding a little orange juice and blend. Add more as needed. I used about 1 cup / 240 ml. Adjust the sweetness by adding a little honey if necessary.
Enjoy!

So funny I am actually sitting here sipping on a green smoothie just as I am looking at your blog. And I posted a smoothie recipe myself a few days ago – there must be a smoothie vibe in the air

I think this is the first time I’ve ever seen strawberries and cranberries together. It sounds so random but looks great! I bet it’s really refreshing.
