A healthy, delicious, and filling smoothie. Ingredients like berries, spinach, apple, ginger help to detox and jump start your body into a healthy new year. The oats add some fiber to this smoothie and you will feel full for a longer time. The banana adds to the creaminess of the smoothie, provides extra nutritional value such as potassium, and it sweetens the smoothie without having to add additional sweetener. Enjoy!

@ Katarina: Thank you!
Soo lecker…
@ My Italian Smörgåsbord: I know, the addition of spinach to smoothies is just great. I love it! Luckily, you don’t taste the spinach though ;-P

The combination of flavors sounds really interesting.

@ Medeja: Luckily, the spinach does not add to the flavour.
It just adds some nutritional value. The most prominent flavours are the blackberries and the ginger. It’s a great combination. Thank you for visting and commenting!

That’s a beautiful color! I love your love for smoothies. I love them too! I just made a raspberry orange one and added plain protein powder and it is DISGUSTING. I would much rather have this one! And ginger… new use that in a smoothie! Sounds good.

@ Erin: Thank you!!! By the way, I went from “Ohhh, raspberry orange sounds tasty” to “Never mind” when I read the disgusting part
Smoothies really are awesome and the varieties are endless. I like to experiment a lot as well but yes, sometimes, the results or flavour combinations are not the greatest choice but adding ginger isn’t one of those. It makes for a refreshing and healthy addition. I love it!
